Ch-Ch-Changes in Science

Today in 5th grade Science we continued our talk on Matter: Physical and Chemical changes.  The students observed how acetone nail polish remover reacted to a styrofoam cup, and how Red Bull reacted with whole milk.

My 5th graders completed a procedure page as an assessment.  They reacted to both labs with explosive “Whoas” and “Ahs.”
